Dr. Kevin Tracey is President and CEO of the The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, and Director of the Laboratory of Biomedical Science and Professor of Molecular Medicine & Neurosurgery at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine.
This research focuses on the neuronal control of inflammatory responses to infection and injury. His recent work has shown the beneficial effects of vagal nerve stimulation in treating drug refractory rheumatoid arthritis.
Dr. Tracey received his medical degree from Boston University and completed a residency in Neurosurgery at Cornell Medical College. He has published over 300 articles in leading medical journals such as Cell, Science, and Nature.
