Job Summary

Assistant Professor of Neurology sought to provide clinical services for pediatric patients suffering from neurological conditions. Clinical responsibilities will be devoted to treating children and adolescents with diseases, disorders or impaired function of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, muscles, and autonomic nervous system, including their coverings, blood vessels, and other effector tissue. Includes performance of history and physical exam. Assess, stabilize, and determine disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services. Perform didactic lectures in classroom setting and hands-on clinical bedside teaching in hospital and/ or ambulatory settings, for medical students, interns, residents and fellows. Participate in the University of Kentucky’s professional development programs, such as participation or membership in professional organizations, continuing medical education activities and quality improvement projects.

Locations: Multiple sites in Fayette, Boyd, Knox, Perry, Rowan, Floyd and Pulaski counties, KY.

Schedule Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm, on call as needed.
