Please see below for two important announcements regarding the 2023 Meeting of the American Autonomic Society.
CME DISCLOSURES ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL CO-AUTHORS LISTED ON ABSTRACTS OF PLATFORM PRESENTATIONS:
All authors and co-authors of oral/platform presentations are required by our CME provider to complete financial disclosure forms for CME purposes. If you receive an email from the UT Southwestern (UTSW) CME Office, then you are a presenter or co-author of a platform presentation and must complete the disclosure in order for the platform to be accepted for presentation by the CME office. Presenting authors: please be sure to let your co-authors know to expect the email and respond!
URGENT HOTEL AVAILABILITY INFORMATION:
We have been informed by the meeting hotel that the nights of November 16 and 17 (Thursday and Friday) are currently sold out due to another group being allowed to contract a block of rooms during our meeting dates (as well as our attendees already filling our room block). Although our booking cut-off date of October 16 has not passed, they have run out of rooms on those two nights. However, the hotel has indicated that the best course of action for securing your room is to book your stay for all other nights and then book a backup room for the 16th and 17th at the closest nearby hotel, the Hyatt Regency (linked), which is a 10 min uber ride away.
The other group’s cut-off date is October 26 and the hotel expects the group to release their unused rooms at that time and will be offering any available rooms to us directly at that time.
If you do not yet have a confirmed hotel reservation at our meeting hotel (Wyndham Grand) and need one, please send a reply email to me so we can start a waitlist of those needing rooms. In the meantime, please do book the available nights as well as alternate arrangements for the sold-out nights, which can hopefully be canceled once/if more rooms open up at our meeting hotel.
Please remember that the meeting hotel discount rates are still only available if you book your stay (for the nights available) before the October 16 deadline.
IF YOU HAVE A ROOM AND NEED TO CANCEL DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL YOUR ROOM! INSTEAD, PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I WILL HAVE THE HOTEL TRANSFER YOUR ROOM TO ANOTHER ATTENDEE.
