New Funding Opportunity to Study Sjögren’s & Dysautonomia

The Sjögren’s Foundation has created a new funding opportunity to study Sjögren’s and dysautonomia to help facilitate new discoveries and a better understanding of this connection. This grant was created in response to the prevalence and impact of neurological signs, symptoms and conditions in Sjögren’s becoming more apparent in recent years, and a notable rise in interest from the Sjögren’s patient population to learn more in this area. A recent survey of 3,622 Sjögren’s patients found that neurological-related conditions ranked third highest in prevalence when looking at involvement of body systems – 83% of respondents had at least one neurological-related condition.

Applications for this grant will be accepted until August 15, 2022, and the grant cycle will run from December 1, 2022, to November 30, 2023.

You are encouraged to share this opportunity with your colleagues or any other interested parties, and any questions can be directed to research@sjogrens.org. To learn more and apply please visit www.sjogrens.org/researchers-providers/research-grants.
