The Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, affiliated with The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is recruiting a post-doctoral fellow for the Women’s Heart Health Laboratory. Research in this lab focuses on neural, vascular and hormonal control of cardiovascular function and blood pressure in women across their lifespan. We are currently actively involved in projects with the NIH and AHA.
Applicant must have a PhD, should have a strong background in integrative human physiology, and should have good writing and oral communication skills. Responsibilities for this position will include management of specific research projects, subject recruitment, data collection and analysis, data presentation, manuscript and fellowship grant writing.
Salary is commensurate with experience according to the NIH stipend levels. The fellow will be an employee of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas and thus can choose various comprehensive fringe benefits including medical, dental, and life insurance.
